Position 1: Dania Scandinavian School – we are recruiting!
Dania Scandinavian School Early Years is a fun, engaging and caring workplace. Our values are based in the Scandinavian tradition which includes outdoor experiences, child-led play in focus and social and emotional development at the heart of our practice.
We are looking for a new member of our team at our nurturing and inspiring preschool in Islington.
The role is to ensure high-quality general education and care, in line with our ethos, for our 2-4-year-olds. Our main job is to create a positive and caring environment, diverse outdoor experiences and trips and an active, creative and fun day.
We are looking for a person with energy and a strong interest in Early Years development. A team player who can identify needs and areas of development and take action on daily tasks such as planning activities, observing children and communicating with parents.
- Qualification in Early Years or childcare is desired
- Interest in outdoor activities
- Child-centred approach a must
You will be a part of a small team with the responsibility to track and document the development of children using a “planning in the moment” approach. You will be a part of a small school setting with a holistic view of education. Our setting has a strong focus on English as Additional language and experiences with bilingual children would be beneficial.
The role is 35 hours per week with shifts spread out on 5 days per week.

Position 2: Maths and Sciences Teacher
Job start: 1 September 2019
Location: Islington, North London
Contract: Permanent, Full time

Dania is a growing, multilingual independent school (accredited through Independent Schools Association) with a Scandinavian ethos built around playful learning and outdoor experiences. We are now looking to appoint a full time, permanent KS1 and KS2 Maths and Science Teacher. You will be part of a highly professional team working towards creating a unique education environment for our children.
