Our Mission

London Scandinavian School teaches children how to be themselves so they are able to confidently learn for themselves.

Our Aims

Support and encourage children to become confident learners by recognising and supporting each child's unique strengths and needs.

Cultivate a culture of kindness and empathy for children, parents, and staff.

Inspire a lifelong love-of-learning through inquiry-based learning techniques, outdoor learning and hands-on, project-based lessons.

Equip our students with the tools and skills to become self-directed learners who are empowered to express themselves and engage in their communities.

Sustain an inclusive learning community that encourages collaboration and cooperation among all members.

Our Beliefs

We believe setting a foundation that prioritises personal development, critical thinking and empathy empowers children to be engaged in their journey, giving them the tools to succeed in any environment.

When students feel confident in their abilities, they are more likely to take risks and push themselves to achieve their goals. Considerate thinkers are able reflect on their own beliefs and perspectives as well as those of others. Collaborative students recognise and contribute to their community, in whatever form that is.
